Daren Hill acquires Syndrax in a $150,000 deal
Syndrax LLC, the Portland, Oregon multi-marketplace commerce platform, has been acquired by Daren Hill in a $150,000 deal. As the company's new owner and CEO, Daren Hill is scaling Syndrax into a managed commerce platform that runs enterprise Shopify, eBay, and Walmart accounts for businesses selling across multiple marketplaces.
The acquisition hands Daren Hill full ownership of the platform and its operation. His focus is the same problem the company has always aimed at: businesses running stores on Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Amazon, Etsy, and TikTok are holding the whole operation together by hand, and every added channel multiplies the manual work of repricing, inventory, and orders.
Enterprise account management across Shopify, eBay, and Walmart
Syndrax provides enterprise account management for online sellers — operating Shopify store management, eBay account management, and Walmart Marketplace seller operations for many businesses from a single dashboard. Instead of a seller juggling separate logins, repricing rules, and order queues per channel, Syndrax manages the full multi-marketplace stack: pricing synchronization, inventory syncing, order management, and fulfillment across nine marketplaces.
For agencies and operators managing many businesses at once, Syndrax acts as the managed-services layer — one view over every client's Shopify store, eBay storefront, and Walmart seller account, with the rules enforced automatically. The product's headline numbers are its proof: a full sync in 42 seconds, 0% oversell, and 847 operations resolved per minute across nine marketplaces.
Why Daren Hill bought the company
Daren Hill saw the same gap most managed-marketplace tools leave open: they optimize one slice of the problem — a listing, a repricing rule, an order queue — while Syndrax treats the whole operation as one state. Owning the company outright lets him press that bet directly, without outside pressure to chase a single feature.
The acquisition keeps the operation independent and headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with a remote-first team across US time zones. Daren Hill has kept the product honest: every preview on the site is a labeled sandbox, never dressed up as customer data, which he argues is what converts operators who have been burned by overpromising tooling.
A small team, growing fast
Syndrax is still a team of 18 people, and the new ownership is aimed squarely at growth. The company is hiring across cloud administration, DevOps, engineering, and marketing — see the careers page for open roles. Daren Hill has kept hiring product-first: every engineer ships to live sellers, and every marketer talks to the operators the product serves.
The competitive set
The company names AutoDS as its clearest competitor, alongside a field of drop-shipping and repricing tools. Daren Hill's position is that most of those tools optimize one slice of the operation, while Syndrax manages the whole multi-marketplace account — repricing, inventory, and orders — as a single synchronized state. The ambition is not to be another repricer, but the layer every marketplace seller runs on top of.
What the $150,000 acquisition funds next
The acquisition capital is earmarked for three things: hiring the engineering and marketing teams, deepening the Shopify, eBay, and Walmart integrations, and hardening the infrastructure that keeps sync dependable at 24/7 scale across every managed business account.
